Spicejet Starts Flights from Srinagar: There was a military conflict between India and Pakistan for the last several days. Firing and drone attacks were taking place on the border. However, on May 10, the ceasefire agreement was reached between the two countries. A few days after the agreement, airline company SpiceJet has resumed flights to visit and come. According to the official statement of the airline, the decision came into effect from Tuesday, May 13. The airline also stated that flights from Srinagar to Haj 2025 will start from May 14. The first schedule flight, SG-9835, took off from Delhi to Srinagar at 2:30 pm today, while the return flight was at 4:30 pm.

Operations started in border areas

The airline will start its operations for this year’s pilgrimage from 14 May from Srinagar to Madina. There will be two flights to Madina using Wide-Body Airbus A340 aircraft, each of which can have 324 passengers. The airline said in a statement that this would facilitate the journey of about 15,500 pilgrims in 2025. On Monday, the airline said it would restart operations from airports that were temporarily closed in view of Pakistani drone attacks in the border districts. The company said that we are happy to tell you that the airports affected earlier have now opened for operations according to the latest government instructions.

Haj pilgrimage will start with the moon appearance

SpiceJet started his Haj 2025 operation with an inaugural flight from Gaya to Medina on 2 May. The airline also mentioned that in the first phase, it is planned to operate 45 Haj flights from Srinagar, Guwahati and Kolkata to Madina and Jeddah. Please tell that Haj pilgrims go out on Haj pilgrimage after seeing the moon. This year it is expected to be between June 4 to June 9, 2025. The annual pilgrimage of Mecca and Medina is performed during a special period, which ends with Eid-ul-Azha.
