Samsung Galaxy M51: Design
We were concerned about the size and weight of the Galaxy M51 from the beginning, but after using this smartphone for a few days, we can say that it is not difficult to use. Anyone can think that the 7,000mAh battery will make a phone very vajni, but it is not so here. Samsung has distributed weight well and does not feel heavy in the phone. However, its weight is 213 grams and you will feel after using it for a while.
Samsung This phone has gone with Infinity-O display, which means that there is a hole at the top of the screen for the front camera. The borders around the screen are thin. The display is 6.7 inches and has a 20: 9 aspect ratio. This makes it difficult to reach the top of the display by keeping the smartphone in one hand. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Samsung has placed a fingerprint scanner in the power button. It works well and can be easily accessible to unlock the phone. The volume buttons are also on the same side, but there are slightly sets, which would make access a bit difficult. On the Galaxy M51 you still get a 3.5mm headphone jack and it is set below with USB Type-C port and speaker.
The Galaxy M51 has a glassstick back. We had a cholesterial black color option that is extremely glossy and holds fingers very easily. There is no case/cover in the box, so we had to wipe the phone to maintain the glow of that back panel. The quad-camera module is set in the back of the phone.
Samsung holds 25 watt charger in the box, something that we also saw with Galaxy M31. The huge battery of the phone is relatively charged with this charger.
Samsung Galaxy M51: Specifications
Samsung has used Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G for the Galaxy M51. This phone gets two variants, first with 6 GB RAM and second, 8 GB RAM. The price of these two is Rs 24,999 and Rs 26,999 respectively. Both variants get the same 128 GB storage and if you want more storage, you can use a dedicated microSD card slot.

Samsung has a 6.7-inch Infinity-O display, which comes with full-HD+ resolution, but the refresh rate is 60 Hz. Let us tell you here that its other contestants such as OnePlus Nord and Realme X3 This brings more refreshed panels. However, the Super AMOLED display on Galaxy M51 is gorgeous. You can change the color output through the Settings app and it remains a sufficient bright in outdoor.
The Galaxy M51 comes with Oneui 2.1 based on Android 10. Our unit was having a August security patch, which is new. Recently, after using a lot of Samsung phones, it was easy to navigate the UI. Samsung has made a lot of use of useful customization in Android 10. Samsung Galaxy M51 also gets a new Near Share feature, which makes it very easy to transfer files between supported devices.

The smartphone has dual messenger, gesture navigation, game launcher and more. Because it is difficult to reach the top of the long display, Samsung has also added a gesture that helps you to bring down the notification shade and quick togle by swiping on the fingerprint sensor, which is very useful.
Samsung has already given Microsoft and Google apps on this phone as well as Dailyhunt, Chingari, Mx Takatak, Moj, Snapchat, Candy Crush Saga and Amazon app installed. After the boot, many notifications of daily and spark apps continued to receive. If you do not use these apps, we will advise you to uninstall them. Samsung’s My Galaxy app also leaves no stone unturned to give notifications of promotional content along with Kovid updates.
Samsung Galaxy M51: Performance
Samsung Galaxy M51 gives quite good performance and we never found it slow. We found the fingerprint scanner fast to unlock the phone. Even its accuracy was good. The phone was also accurate and fast in identifying the face and unlocking the phone. The good output of the display also enjoyed watching videos on Galaxy M51. Because the front camera is in the hole-pan cutout, some people may be distracted by it. However, it gets used to it in some time.

Asphalt 9 lasted well at the default quality settings and the gameplay remained smooth even when the graphics high. Playing for 15 minutes led to a decline of two percent in the battery level. Even after this, the screen touch did not heat up.
We know that you will be eager to know the battery life of this phone. Our original use, including running benchmarks, taking photos and making some calls, the phone gave us a two -day backup once charged. In our HD video loop test, the phone managed to run for 32 hours, which is longer than any phone at any cost. To charge this huge battery, the company has given 25W charger, which was really fast and took only two hours to charge the phone completely.
Samsung Galaxy M51: Cameras
A quad-camera setup on Samsung Galaxy M51 is available and this configuration is very similar to that we Galaxy m31s Also seen on (review). A 64-megapixel primary camera with F/1.8 aperture, 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, with a 123-degree field-off-view, a 5-megapixel macro camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. There has been no significant change in the camera app. In default photo mode, the scene optimizer is capable by default but you can also turn it off.

The Galaxy M51 was fast in locking the focus and the scene optimizer also recognized the atmosphere quickly. Photos taken in daylight came with good details and good dynamic range. The camera was also able to identify the subject at some distance and the text also appeared clearly in the photographs. The Galaxy M51 turns HDR on itself in the bright scene, due to which good shots are available. We found that the wide-angle camera captures a fairly good area, but the edges of the photographs found noticeable disturbances. Wide-angle camera with low resolution is unable to capture the same details as primary sensor.

You get a 16-megapixel shots by default from Galaxy M51, but you also have the option to take photos at the entire 64-megapixel resolution. The photos shot at the entire resolution had better details, but there was a lack of dynamic range along with sharpness. The single tech feature works exactly as it occurs on the Galaxy M31s and provides several output options after recording a 15 second clip.

Closeup shots taken with Galaxy M51 were sharp and found good blur on the background. Samsung’s live focus mode lets you shoot a portrait and adjust the level of blur in the viewfinder before taking the shot. The 5-megapixel macro camera gives you a chance to capture a subject very closely and the details in the pictures also get good.

The performance of the camera was decent in low light and the photos came good, but you will see quite a grain (donations) when zoom-in. There is also night mode, which helps improve the output of primary sensor. Night mode is also available for wide-angle cameras and gives similar results.

The selfie taken with Galaxy M51 was very good and the phone makes them smooth by default. Photo is shot at 8 megapixels by default, but you can switch to 12-megapixel resolution. You also have the option to take a selfie with a 32-megapixel resolution. The selfie camera performed well in low light and captured good details. You can also take a selfie portrait using live focus mode. With the mask, AI did not recognize the face and could not blur the background, but it did not happen without a mask. This is something that Samsung may be able to fix with a small update.
Verdict
Samsung Galaxy M51 With, the Galaxy-M series now brings a large range in terms of price. We are sure that the Galaxy M51 has caught a lot of attention due to its 7,000mAh battery and it really gives a very good battery life. Snapdragon 730G chipset also gives good performance and will keep people happy at this price.
The cameras are good, but the video stabilization could have been a little better. In the case of battery, no contestant comes around the Galaxy M51 and if your priority is battery life, the Galaxy M51 is a strong option for you. If you focus more on normal performance, then OnePlus Nord (Review) will be a suitable option.
