Realme 6i Design: Identical to the Realme 6
Reality has long been presenting a handset named “I”. The company’s strategy has been to weaken some specifications of the existing model to reduce the price. But this time the changes are very minor. Overall, there is no difference between design and dimensions. To achieve the difference, Realme has introduced the phone’s lunar white and eclips black color variants. In comparison Realme 6 The color variants of (review) are more breathtaking.
Reality 6i I will get a fingerprint sensor on the shore, as its design matches Realme 6. I like the rear fingerprint sensor, but this position is also not bad. The position is like this, your thumb is easily on it when you are holding the phone with the right hand. Capacitive fingerprint scanner is clicking and also works as a power button. I also liked that Realme 6i is not very wide. That is, the grip is good. I could easily reach every side of the display.
Realme Has given the volume button a place with a sim tray on the left side. The button can be easily accessible and these clicks offer feedback. Reality has chosen a matte finish on the plastic frame for this device. Which gives good experience. The back of the smartphone easily has fingerprints and spots of spots. I felt that the viewing angles of the display are good and its brightness is enough for outdoor.
In Reality 6i, the company has used MediaTek Helio G90T processor which is also a part of Realme 6. Realme has launched two variants of this smartphone in the market- 4 GB RAM or 6 GB RAM. Both variants are equipped with 64 GB storage and it is possible to use a microSD card up to 256 GB if needed. I had a 4 GB RAM variant for review.
Reality 6i has dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, dual-band Wi-Fi and four satellite navigation systems. Reality 6i also has a 4,300 mAh battery like Reality 6, but you will get a 20 watt charger instead of 30 watt charger in the retail box.
The Reality 6I smartphone runs on Realme UI based on Android 10. Our unit had a security patch of June. This user interface has many customization options. Swipe on the right side on the homescreen will open the smart assistant feature of Realme. There is a shortcut and recondition of your use items here. Reality 6I has a traditional three button navigation. If you want, you can use gentle navigation instead. The UI has a Smartsidar. You can configure a shortcut for the app.
There is no shortage of blotware in the phone- Realme Community, Realme Store, Amazon, Facebook, Google Pay, Realme Link, Realme Pay, WPS Office, Heytap Cloud, Docvault and Soloop. I found that the stock browser app and app market spamy. Because these apps sent notifications repeatedly.
Realme 6i performance: up to speed
Reality 6I never slowed down during use. The user interface is very smooth, especially when the display refresh rate is set on 90 Hz. In the default it remains set on the auto, but you can switch between 90 Hz or 60 Hz if you want. The viewing angles of this panel are excellent.
MediaTek Helio G90T is a powerful processor. It is fully capable of handling apps and games with powerful graphics. There was never any problem in common use. I could easily download many apps and multites the multitasks between them. The fingerprint scanner on the edge unlocks the phone rapidly. This can also be said about face recognition.
Relame 6i’s performance remained as expected in the benchmark test. I played PUBG Mobile. It went on a high preset in default. The graphics was set on HD. The frame rate was also on high. I did not realize any leg. However, the device became a bit hot after about 20 minutes.
Realme 6i has a lot of power in battery life. The phone easily supported the whole day. There was a little battery left at the end of the day. In this, the 4,300 mAh battery, which died in the video loop test in 19 hours 22 minutes. Realme gives 20 watt charger in the retail box. It is claimed to charge 44 percent in half an hour. By the way, let us know that the smartphone is also supported for 30 watt fast charging. If you have a compatible charger, the time to charge the battery will be reduced further.
Realme 6i Cameras: Decent for the price
The camera of Reality 6I is slightly different from the hardware Reality 6. In expensive models you get 64 megapixel primary camera. The model that instead has used 48 megapixel cameras. Apart from this, there is an 8 -megapixel ultra wide angle camera, a black and white portrait camera and a 2 -megapixel depth sensor. A 16 -megapixel camera has been given for selfie. The camera app is the only one with Reality 6. It has AI support and make it easily detect the scene. HDR in this bright scene starts working on its own. You also have the option to take photos in 48 megapixel resolution.

Photos taken in daylight were good. Realme 6i was successful in achieving a decent dynamic range. Given the price, the level of details in the shots will be considered satisfactory. Photos came sharp. The wide-angle camera of Reality 6I gives more wider field of view, but the details are reduced. The shots had a little barrel distortion on the edge. Grains were clearly visible after zoom in the photos taken in full resolution.

There was no shortage of details in the close up shot from Reality 6i. There was also a soft bokeh effect. But AI boosted Colors Artificial. For portrait, you get the facility to set a blur level in Reality 6i, that too before taking a photo. It was successful in achieving good edge detection. It separates the subject from the background properly. Details in the macrose shot taken in adequate ambient lights were well.

Camera performance weakens in low light. Details are the most damaged in shots. Night mode takes four seconds to take a shot on average. Because of this you have to hold the phone stable. Photos are better. Details in shadows get better. Overall, the picture looks a bit better.

The selfie taken in daylight is good. The beautification is enabled in the default, so that you get some smoothing in the output. The front camera also takes a fine portrait and you can fix the level of the blur before taking the shot. Performance came very average in low light. But it also helps in taking a few bright shots.
Our decision
The Reality 6i users will like those who want to get good hardware in a low budget. In this you Realme 6 (Review )’s Helio G90T processor, 4,300 mAh battery and 90 Hz refresh rate display will be available. But you will have to compromise on charger and camera performance. Given the price, Realme 6i seems to be a product charged. There is no 90 Hz display in this price in the smartphone market. If this feature does not matter to you a lot Poco M2 Pro (Review) is a good option.
