In an interview to NDTV in 2011, Anushka Sharma clearly said that, “Ranveer Singh can never be his boyfriend. He said that Ranveer is a very good and hardworking person, but at that time he was in the beginning of his career and was completely focusing on himself, which was also necessary.”

In the same interview, Anushka Sharma also explained that “why she does not want to date an actor. She said that most actor is self -obtained and she herself is the same. In such a situation, she cannot live with someone who is self -obtained like them.”
