After the ongoing battle between India and Pakistan, the reason behind the ceasefire announced was not a warning to stop the business of US President Donald Trump. Moneycontrol received this information from the top government sources. Refuting Trump’s claims, sources said that the top government officials of the US had spoken to the Indian officials, but there was no mention of business in any of these conversations. The source said that when Operation Sindoor was announced, US Vice President JD Vance spoke to PM Modi on 9 May. A day earlier on May 8, US Secretary Rubio spoke to India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on 10 May. However, the business was not mentioned in any of these conversations.
Where did the matter arise?
The US had warned to stop the business for the ceasefire, mentioning it by US President Donald Trump himself. On May 12, Trump claimed that he had warned both India and Pakistan that America would stop its business if they do not stop the fight. Trump had said that if India and Pakistan stop fighting, business will continue with America, otherwise not.
Trump’s claim, used in a special way
US President Donald Trump said that people would never have ever thought that business could be used in this way. Let me tell you that Trump showed a lot of speed in taking the credit of ceasefire between India and Pakistan and called it a permanent ceasefire. He said that on Saturday, his government helped to cease to ceasefire immediately. Regarding how the business talks between the US and India are moving forward after the ceasefire announcement of the ceasefire, he said that America is going to do a lot of business with India and Pakistan. He said that America is currently talking with India and soon there will be talks with Pakistan.
Not only finished, action against Pakistan, its future will decide its future: PM Modi
