There has been a deal between the US and China on the tariff. This news has seen great pressure on the shares of many Indian companies. There was a conversation between the US and China officials about the tariff on 10–11 in Switzerland. After this, both of them announced the deal. The two countries have agreed to put less tariffs on each other’s products for 90 days.
On May 12, DIXON Technologies, Welspun Living and SRF’s share deal came down from their all-time high in the afternoon. KPR Mills saw the biggest decline. Stock of diction is strong in the morning. However, it saw a decline in 12:35. However, by 2 o’clock it managed to manage to a great extent. Its price was up 4.87 percent to Rs 15,928. Welpon Living’s stock also fell at 12:30 pm. But, after that it saw recovery. It was 2.35 per cent at Rs 150 at 2 pm.
The SRF shares fell below Rs 3,000 at one time. After that recovery came. However, KPR Mills failed to recover after falling shares. Its price was running at Rs 1,213 with a weakness of 7.14 percent at 2 pm. In fact, in view of the growing trade war between the US and China, American companies were growing on the path of manufacturing in India instead of China. He saw more benefits in manufacturing in India than China.
With the trade deal between the US and China, bilateral trade between the two countries will start growing again. With this, American companies who were planning to come to India can stop their plan. VK Vijaykumar, Chief Investment Strategist of Geojit Investments, said, “The deal between the US and China is good news for the Global Economy. But, it is disappointing in terms of India. A big reason for this is that we expected to have a US trade deal with India before China.”
Helius Capital founder Sameer Arora said that the deal between the US and China will benefit the Global Economy. However, the atmosphere of foreign investors start investing in India again is pleasant. The investment of domestic institutional investors in India also remains strong. Foreign investors want to diversify their investment.
