IPL 2025: The BCCI has released a new schedule of Tata IPL 2025. The revised program starts from 17 May. A total of 17 matches will be played on 6 grounds and the finals will be held on June 3, it includes two double-headed matches for the entire final, which will be played on two Sundays. The BCCI reported that the entire schedule of playoff matches will be announced later. Right now the schedule of major matches has been released.

Foreign players who have returned home will be challenged
The IPL is yet to play 17 matches, including 13 league matches, three playoffs and finals. Except for Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals, all franchisees are still in the playoff race. A major challenge for the teams will be to recall their foreign players, who have already returned home.
Currently, the Gujarat Titans leads the race to qualify for the playoffs with 16 points and 0.793 NET Run-Right. Royal Challengers Bangalore also have 16 points, but they are second with a low net run rate (NRR) of .482. Punjab Kings ranks third with 15 points, while Mumbai Indians are in the top four with 14 points.
