Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Adampur airbase in Punjab and gave a big message. This is the same Frontier Airbase that Pakistan tried to target the missile on the night of 9 May. The Pakistani missile was killed in the air by India’s air defense system. But Pakistan did not know that targeting Adampur Airbase would be its biggest mistake and in return, about a dozen Pakistani airbase including Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi would come under the help of India’s missile attacks.
In fact, Pakistan had claimed that it had damaged India’s Adampur airbase, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on Tuesday completely rejected those claims.
Pictures of PM Modi’s visit have shown the Russian S-400 defense system and MIH-29, which was another big message that Russian weapons had strengthened India’s defense and attack in the current struggle with Pakistan.
After making a big deal with Russia in 2018, India has received three squadrons of the S-400 defense system since 2020. The US had put a lot of pressure to India not to make this deal, which threatened that if India buys a Russian defense system, it would be banned. By the end of the year, S-400 Kwadron is going to come to India.
The Prime Minister met Air Force personnel and interacted with them at Adampur Airbase. He also posted a picture of himself from Adampur Airbase, behind which a message was written on the wall, ‘Why do the enemy pilots not sleep well?’ This outlines his message from the visit of Adampur Airbase, which Pakistan tried to target several times, but he did not succeed.
Adampur Airbase near Jalandhar is the second largest airbase in India and has also played an important role in the earlier wars with Pakistan.
The Prime Minister wrote on X, “This morning I went to IAF Adampur and met our brave air warriors and soldiers. Living with people symbols of courage, determination and fearlessness was a very special experience. India will always be grateful to our armed forces, which do everything for our country.”
The government also released a video of the Prime Minister’s visit, in which he was seen talking to Air Force personnel, patting his shoulders and chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’.
